At the heart of our work is a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves to live a life free from domestic, family, and sexual violence.

The Survivor Service is built on the voices and experiences of victim-survivors, and we know that real change happens when the whole community is involved. That’s why we’ve created a general membership that welcomes everyone to be part of our mission. Whether you’ve experienced violence yourself or you care about someone who has (and most of us do), your voice matters and support matters.

As a member, you’ll receive occasional updates about our work and invitations to key events, including our Annual General Meeting (AGM), programs, and fundraisers. There's no pressure to attend — but our door is always open if you'd like to be more involved.

This is one way we’re keeping the community involved. Membership is open to everyone—no need to reside in Townsville or North Queensland; all you need is a shared belief in our dedication to ensuring that everyone deserves to live free from domestic, family, and sexual violence. Together, we can make a meaningful difference!

We’ve kept the cost of membership to just a one-time fee of $1.00 with no annual renewals, because we believe that being part of change should be accessible to all.
