The Survivor Service

tss brand orange line large

The Survivor Service looks at domestic, family, and sexual violence through a gendered lens because we know these issues are closely linked to power imbalances and gender inequality.

We understand that while anyone can be affected, women and LGBTIQA + people are more often the ones impacted. We also recognise that everyone’s experience is different; factors like culture, disability, sexuality, ethnicity, background and financial situation can all shape how someone experiences domestic, family and sexual violence. That’s why we take an intersectional approach, so we can offer support that truly reflects the complex and varied realities of victim survivors.

The Survivor Service is a registered not-for-profit organisation with ACNC charity status and Australian Taxation Office (ATO) DGR endorsement for tax concessions.

We operate with the highest standards of governance and compliance.
